2012 Babies

We have a visitor who is residing in one of my sculptures. Glad it has become functional. I think these are gold finches but I could be wrong. Mama does not stay around long enough for me to see her well enough to identify. However she has white bars on her wings and she is very small. Perhaps when these kids grow some I can add more photos.

And I was wrong about the finches. A week later I was able to get a closer look at mom and listen to her. She is a Black Throated Gray Warbler. Babies have more fur now. I will have to take another picture soon.

One week later their feathers are getting more defined and they are getting bigger. Looks like there are two of them and one unhatched egg. Both parents are watching them closely; or should I say watching me more closely.
